Angora rabbit is the oldest rabbit in the world that we can get yarn from its wool . In its history, it is known that it was taken by English salesmen in 1723 to the kingdom of Britain and then spread to whole Europea . Angora has beautiful long , soft hair that is suitable for weaving. The hair taken from the rabbit is called Angora rabbit wool or shortly Angora wool . The clothes made from angora doe not cause any allergic reaction to the body and because of its hollow structure , it does not prevent the body take air. Due to this specialty, altough it is 7-8 times warmer than angora goat wool, it does not cause any perspiration on the body. It can be used in children clothes because of its thick , soft features, not being heavy, anti allergic characteristic, keeping warm and not sweating characteristics. With its strong electromagnetic characteristic it can be used in thermal clothes for rheumatics, arthritis, cold painful joints, sciatica, muscle tension, kidney ailments, chilblains and circulatory disorders. This thermal clothes made from Angora prevent the body effected from sudden temperature changements and increase blood circulation and provide teuropatic effect. The Angora can be mixed with merinos wool, cotton, silk , cashmere . Today it is used in thermal clothes, in children clothes, underclothes in the world. During the centuries it was natural wool clothes that protected Anatolian people from strong winter, made Hitite warriors challenge Egiptian soldiers, wrap children as their mother hug. Then due to the industrial development, cheap and unnatural clothes took place of natural ones. But then the humanbeing realized his fault and return to natural fibers again. Angora rabbit wool is one of the specific of these natural wool.Angora wool is originated from central Anatolia which Hitities came from and has two kinds, goat and rabbit.
